Rénovation Bourse

Start of the renovation

> January/February 2020: Start of the dismantling and demolition of the special techniques until 30 July 2020, the dismantling of the interior of the Exchange is completed.  The next step is the actual renovation work.
> The building is on holiday from mid-July to mid-August.
> Beginning of September the renovation starts with the auction of almost 1200 square meters of classified oak floor on 30 September 2020 and 7 October 2020.  This sale was organised by the Mont-de-Piété. 


From January 2021 to June 2021 :
> Restoration of the facades on Place de la Bourse and rue Maus
> Restoration of the roof, the windows and the cupola
> Restoration of the interior of the natural stones, ceilings, floors and woodwork
> Transformation of the archaeological site, removal of the glass roof and creation of the new access
> Construction of the new stairwells
> Installation of new special techniques (HVAC, sanitary facilities, heating, electricity, fire)
> Restoration of the ceilings at level 1
> Restoration of the glass floor tiles level 2
> Construction of the HVAC (High Ventilation Air Conditioning) courtyards.
> Drainage and sanitary facilities level 1
> Heating pipes level 1
> Electrical wiring of the HV cabin
> Removal of the archaeological site's glass roof and start of the new access
> Beginning of construction of the new stairwells
> Demolition of the existing nave slab (keeping the beams) and reconstruction of a new slab.
